Breastfeeding (directly and/or expressing) can be challenging. Learning how to safely hold a baby can be challenging. Attempting to safely hold a baby whilst holding them in a suitable breastfeeding position can be challenging. The last thing a breastfeeding woman needs, is the added challenge of doing all of this whilst trying to hold their clothes of choice out of the way!

DID YOU KNOW?
An article by Dandekar and Khatavkar (2022), looked at the impact of breastfeeding positions on neck pain in post-partum mothers, and found that inappropriate positions acquired during breastfeeding can lead to long term postural deformities, joint pain, and an increased risk of injury. In the first six months after birth, an average breastfeeding session ranges from 15-20 minutes, and is done every 2-3 hours, which is approximately eight to 12 feeds per day, and equates to 5-6 hours spent breastfeeding daily (Dandekar and Khatavkar, 2022). Impressive!

When creating what we now know as the
Mum-Me Clip™, our aim was to provide a solution for these very problems of strain, stress, and style!

In addition to physical health benefits, the Mum-Me Clip™â€‹â€‹ also strives to reduce the limitations and barriers that current maternity fashion poses (e.g., feeling restricted to wearing maternity tops/dresses only). Instead, we want to empower and encourage breastfeeding women to embrace their preferred choice of clothing whilst still being able to breastfeed in a way that is practical and less burdensome on the body.

The Mum-Me Clip™ is made in Victoria, Australia from ethically sourced fabrics, and we've ensured that only eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging is used when we deliver to you.

At Mum-Me Co., we are dedicated to providing top quality products that are affordable, unique, innovative, and practical.
